| Petroleum Solids was one of the original suppliers of separating equipment and tankage for Soil Wash Technologies, who imports contaminated soils, washes them and returns them to the customer free of hydrocarbons or other volatiles. They use fine material dewatering screws shakers, hydrocylcones and centrifuges with polymer additives to separate all sizes of soils from the wash waters. The wash water (containing surfactants) is then skimmed to an oil/water separator where the contaminants are decanted for disposal.
